| ARTIST’S PROFILE
Born in Iguatama city, Minas Gerais, Brazil, in l962, he has studied and
worked close to the artistic world in Belo Horizonte, M.G., from l979 to l984. After that,
he was registered at Rio de Janeiro University, in the Letters and Arts Center. He also
worked for the Carioca Carnival as a painter and property master, especially for Padre
Miguel Independent Youth Group, for about five years.
He decorated the ceiling of Our Lady of Abadia Church, consisting of
seven panels with 8 x 5 meters each one, in Iguatama, M.G., under the auspices of the
White Martin Company.
In l996 he started a project in Peruíbe. SP: the panel "History of
Salvation", which measures 400m2, and contains l70 pictures. It was finished in
eighteen months.
In l998 he painted another panel: "Ascension of Christ", with
50m2, above the main altar of the Church of Saint Anthony, in Arcos, MG.
